I don't usually watch movies based on comic books, mainly because I have seen some in the past that have been really atrocious. So I was naturally abit hesitant about watching X-Men. However apon... Read moreviewing it I was pleasantly surprised. The plot was good, the action was fast-paced and the acting was good, especially from the two main stars Patrick Stewart and Sir. Ian McKellan. Mind you both Patrick and Ian went through classical training in British theatre and that always turns out actors whom I feel are just a slight cut above the rest, especially in terms of their diction. The young actors in this movie also put forward some solid performances. I just wish some of the other comic books that have been brought to the big screen or even television would measure up to the standard set by this movie.
