Maybe I was too tired but this movie just did not grab me. I was really looking forward to seeing it but it turned out to be total bore.
OK for the grandkids. We found it a tad repetitive. Very cleverly made though.
If its a movie with a robot and about robots they don't interest me and I wont watch them. But,I have to say Wall.E really came to life and to the party with me as it did with my children and my husband... Read more.Has good composition for character building ideas.Bought a sense of reality in a way yet keeping within an animated mode.A good family viewing movie.
My whole family loved this movie. We watched it together as a family movie night (3 generations) and everyone enjoyed it very much.
An absolute delight to watch. The story of a love that traverses the universe between two of the cutest little robots! While it has it's funny parts, it also has tearful parts. A beautiful, funny... Read more, heartfelt tale of love the knows no bounds! You really really need to watch this movie!
The great thing about this movie is not so much the story - which is perfectly adequate - but the character of the main robot WALL-E. The concept of a trash-filled world which has become uninhabitable is also very neat, as is the notion that this little faithful robot is all that remains of a veritable army of similar machines charged with cleaning up the mess. In some ways this is a Victorian morality play for the space age. Looks great in Blu-ray and has an excellent sound track as well.
Best animated movie ever! Great story, great animation, perfect for all ages - seriously :D Love the cockroach by the way! But I wonder why there were only white people in this movie?
This is a great film, full of the animation magic of the early nineties, and it is a film that has something for all ages to enjoy. For the older generation we get to laugh at the funny dig at America's... Read more ever-increasing girth and for the younger, there is the stunning animation that succeeds in creating robot characters that are more physically emotive than the humans in the movie. There is robot slapstick a plenty and of course the obligatory moral of the story which is a nice dig at large corporations and a reminder to look after mother earth. One for the whole family.
Another Pixar triumph - I hope Disney don't stuff Pixar up.
Kids enjoyed this touching movie. Robots are not my thing but I liked it too.
