Another great western! This along with Open Range are the best Westerns in 12 years. Well acted by Tommy Lee Jones and Cate Blanchett, it is very much in the vein of John Ford's classic 'The Searchers'... Read more

What I liked about it is the lack of romanticism, the movie is not over-glamourised. You feel the character's discomfort. Some people might use the word "gritty" but I won't because that would be a cliche.

Good movie, good selection of star actors with Cate Blanchett stealing the show. Not the best Indian movie, but nice story regarding the relationships between the major players. Nice Sunday afternoon movie

THIS MOVIE WAS GOOD AND I FOUND THE SCENERY TO BE WONDERFUL. THE CHARACTERS WERE EXCELLENT AND PLAYED WELL.

There's something not quite right about this violent off beat western and I think it's Cate Blanchette. She's in the wrong movie and she throws it off kilter. It's classy and looks good, but it just doesn't click.

'Different' to say the least. Not really my kind of movie, but not the worst I've suffered through. Not Tommy Lee Jones' finest work.

Not your usual kind of Western, and also contains quite a bit of gruesome violence. It was an excellent story-line, great acting and the tension kept up right to the end. Enjoyed.

**** Great movie. As previously mentioned not mushy or violent - a nice change

This is a great movie. The actors were as you'd expect, and the story was a sad little western. You've got to watch this one.
