Best movie for the last 20 yrs. Dont see it if your I.Q is too low to grasp the concept or you will be disappointed. Ground breaking effects, witty dialog, well written & fantastic acting all round.
The most over-rated movie I ever saw. The characters are ridiculous, dialogue is laughable at times, and there is nothing new here. Nothing but a video game that you can't play. For 14 year olds.
Brilliant movie. Will be a classic for all time. Need to get your head around the concept early but once in that dimension you will be fulfilled!
Well as they say - "You cant beat the original" and when it comes to this sci-fi trilogy that is absolutely true. A fantastic concept - a new take on the whole machines taking over like in The Terminator... Read more and I, Robot. Neo (Keanu Reeves) is a hacker searching for an answer to a question "What is the Matrix?" When he meets Morpheous (a very cool Laurence Fishburne) all is revealed. Men are slaves to the machines plugged into huge power plants the Matrix is the computer generated dream world that keeps them enslaved. However Neo is "the One" the person who Morpheous believes will free all humans from the machines. Packed with outstanding special FX and impressive martial arts fights coupled with a smart script, good acting and a kick ass soundtrack The Matrix is a must see on anyone¿s list. Forget the two sequels just sit back and enjoy this ride.
A great great movie. Extremely original. An absolute classic
ITS A CLASSIC
IT WAS GOOD TO SEE
WON,T WATCH IT AGAIN
It was not what we had expected and although not into this science fiction stuff it was thought provoking and not too bad.
A very good story - thought-provoking on a range of questions about reality, values, and the mind-body question, and very well acted. Keanu Reeves was the perfect choice for the leading role.
Very complex and brilliant. I found some of the special effects very frightening, anyone who rated this movie very shallow has probably "missed the point" It is very hard to understand at a deep level and deserves a second watch...
One of my favourite movies - deep on so many levels - and me and me too
