2005 M Contains Violence, Offensive Language & Horror.

On an annual extreme outdoor adventure, six women meet in a remote part of the Appalachians to explore a cave hidden deep in the woods. Far below the surface of the earth, disaster strikes when a rock fall blocks their exit and there's no way out. The women push on, praying for another exit, but there is something else lurking under the earth. The friends are now prey, forced to unleash their most primal instincts in an all-out war against an unspeakable horror - one that attacks without warning, again and again and again.

If you think director, Neil Marshall put his guys through hell three years ago in the werewolf flick, Dog Soldiers, wait till you see the nightmare he's dreamed up for the girls in his latest movie, The Descent!

Loved it. Even moments of hiding behind the cushion. Good story with feelings of claustrophobia throughout. Wont be going Caving ... ever!

Could have been great, but wasn't. Another cave flick that rips off a bunch of older short stories & can't even work a good idea from (someone else's) silver platter. Brutal, stupid, ultimately boring. Annoying.

I thought this was a good movie, there was some jumping moments that freaked me out, ending left you thinking.... wtf?

This film was fantastic, some good 'jump' moments. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in search of a good horror film to watch. Enjoy!!!

Wasn't expecting much from this movie but it's not too bad. Had a couple of the best "jump out of your skin" moments that I have come across in a movie for awhile. Much better than "The Cave".

Not the best of Horror movies but it makes the grade, JUST, due to the graphic beginning and then the follow up as the movie goes on

The Descent starts promising and scary but ends up in a total stupid alien crap plot. Rather funny than scary really. Very disappointing cause trailer looked great!
