Seek The Truth

Based on Dan Brown's best-seller of the same name, Ron Howard's gripping film stars Tom Hanks as Harvard professor Robert Langdon and Audrey Tautou as cryptographer Sophie Neve, who must untangle a web of deceit when the curator of the Louvre, a member of a secret society and a relative of Neve's, is found murdered in the famed museum's hallowed halls.

To crack the case and arrive at the truth, they must look to the works of Leonardo da Vinci.

After all the media hype I wasn't sure what to expect. The movie as a whole was good and providing it is treated as a movie, it is a good one.

This was a very entertaining movie! Very interesting plot and characters. Particularly enjoyed Tom Hanks and Ian McKellen. Lots of suspense, we were on the edge of our seats!

This is one of the best suspense movies in recent times. The intrigue is well woven into the religious myth to create the atmosphere. There is clever use of recall to link the plot. Tom Hank never fails to deliver.

This is a lousy movie. Audrey Tautou is completely miscast, the continuity is all over the place and it is badly filmed. No wonder it bombed at the box office.

It's even worse than you've heard. It could have been nutty fun but it's not. And the absurd plot seems even more so on the screen than it did on the page. Tom does his best as always, but Audrey Tautou's relentless sweetness got on my nerves.

The story didnt come to life in this film. Hanks took himself and the subject far too seriously. Get the book instead.
