It's Not Like They Didn't Warn Us.

From M. Night Shyamalan, the writer/director of the Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, comes the story of the Hess family in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, who wake up one morning to find a 500 foot crop circle in their backyard. Graham Hess (Mel Gibson) and his family are told extraterrestrials are responsible for the sign in their field. They watch, with growing dread, the news of crop circles being found all over the world. Signs is the emotional story of one family on one farm as they encounter the terrifying last moments of life as the world is being invaded.

This is my favourite Horror/Thriller/Suspense movie. Obviously the acting will be good, I mean come on it stars Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix. But some scenes are specifically scary. A must watch!

Really bad screen play. I like Mel Gibson but why did he choose this role? A movie that has almost no plot. the plot is 'alien invades the earth leaving behind silly symbols and gets beaten by base ball bat.

To its credit it has at least more Sci fi than action sequences although the water solution is a bit weak. The suspense around the invaders is well handled. Mel struggles with the acting bit of his performance but the kids see him through.

Absolutely brilliant movie. Mel Gibson, Jaoqin Phoenix and the two children were very well cast. I was on the edge of my seat and loved every minute. Thoroughly recommend to those who enjoy a thriller.
