It was really funny. She was very sly in all her operations, and what was seen as carelessness was actually a good plan. Excellent movie, and more interesting knowing it was a true story.

What a great film. I didn't care so much for the second half which kind of ran out of steam but the initial setup and murder spree is pure colourful Baltimorey goodness from Mr. Waters. Highly recommended.

A morbidly twisted comedy of a seemingly mild-mannered housewife turned serial killer. Kathleen Turner is spot on as the Mom, with an able supporting cast. Visually a bit dated.

Quite funny really, but has its silly bits also. I really got a good giggle out of it! A good one to watch if you need to have a non thought provoking giggle. Some bits are just funny on their own, didn't need the rest of the movie.

Highly entertaining with laugh-out-loud moments. It appears that the "true story" base is a myth, but I didn't discover that until afterwards, not that it would have made a difference.

Awesome Movie. I was laughing the whole way through wondering what she was going to do next. Love the fact that it's outdated, if it was remade I dont think they could capture the talent as well.
