Superb movie, actors and storyline. One of my all time favourites. Freeman plays a retiring cop who is partnered with a young Pitt to solve what starts as one murder, and ends with one of them being... Read more

Chilling and disturbing - a great thriller and convincing performance from Brad Pitt and Spacey.

Dismal, repellent, predictable, and of course everyone just LOVES it. Shamelessly pornographic in it's sleazy use of torture & victimization; a real nadir in the pathetic, voyeuristic 90's fad for faux-cerebral psychos. Disgusting.

There are very few films that I have trouble watching but this was one of them...Unnecessary close shots of horrible murdered victims etc.

I had two goes at watching it but gave up after a second.Morgan Freeman was great as usual .

Not for the squeemish but Morgan Freeman gives a good performance as the thinking cop.

Almost inaudible dialogue crushed by booming background music made this film a trial to endure. That was a shame, because it was well-constructed with strong performances.
