I loved this movie! I loved the dry humour, and the character ewan mcgregor plays as "Alfred (fred) Jones". Emily Blunt is great as usual. It is a very relaxed, chilled out viewing, with a fantastic... Read more story line. I doubt anyone would get bored watching this movie, even though there are no full on action scenes. However there is a gun and a touch of violence, if that helps?! lol
Astoundingly awful considering the actors and the budget. Cliched, clumsy, predictable, stupid and only occasionally enjoyable. I have spoken to lots of others who enjoyed so don't listen to me if you... Read more like simple romantic escapism. However, if you like any sort of subtlety in your script, plot or acting, don't go near it.

A "different" story. Lots of eye candy to entertain the eye. Hardly the stuff to take seriously. So sit back and enjoy.
Most enjoyable. Great acting and development of the characters and relationships. Thoroughly entertaining.
I had first read the book. I did wonder how the director/producer would turn it into a watchable film. Well, it is very good, an unusual story but well done in every way.
I enjoyed this moving, humorous as well as serious
A great movie, wonderful story, 'real' characters well played. Highly reccommend it.
Forgettable but harmless rom-com, made a bit more original because of its original storyline (though I can't say the story was all that interesting to me.) Blunt is a babe.
well that's 103 minutes of cliche. the film's even worse than the book.
An enjoyable movie. Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt team up so well, and Kristin Scott Thomas is great as a "Groucho Marx" type character if only she replaced the cigarettes with cigars! Predictable, irrational, but fun.
