I love a movie with a ridiculous octopus costume so this was perfect.
Whichever British Movie star is your favourite - never fear - they will be in this film. It's also full of cameo appearances... Read more, which amazingly work well.
Hugh Grant and Colin Firth are never in the same scene, so it's not a Bridget Jones remake. In fact you wonder why Colin Firth is in the film at all until the end, and then it all makes sense.
Worth watching for Hugh Grant's description of the Blairs "nappies, teenagers and a scary wife".
We both liked this one becuase of the variety and credibility of stories building up to Christmas for the differint intermingling families
This is not usually my type of movie but I couldn't help but love it! Great characters and nice linking-up of the stories. Good fun.
The kniiting of the characters was well done! What seem like totally random characters at the beginning all merged into a complete package at the end. This movie leans slightly more towards the ladies... Read more, however the great storylines will appeal to the wide audience nethertheless.
This movie is a classic, we totally enjoyed it, and its unique, it's a knock out, Colin, Hugh, and the grand dad of rock n roll character just totally cool.
A really great movie - I thought it was going to be a chick flick but was very surprised how good it was - clever and funny.
Have seen this movie before, but again enjoyed the English humour, music and storyline. A real chill out sort of film.
The storyline could have been a little less confusing, I found it a little jumpy, jumping from one couples story to the next every few minutes, but on the whole it was rather enjoyable. Some people may find it a little slow and boring though.
great movie, really enjoyed...recommend to all, great comedy and love story. very funny.
A good laugh, with some serious bits. Some wonderful displays by a star studded cast.
