After nine aliens flee their home planet to find a peaceful life on Earth, their plans are shattered by pursuers who must kill them in number order. Number Four is a teen named John (Alex Pettyfer), who uses his extraordinary abilities to battle his enemies. John's guardian, Henri (Timothy Olyphant), aids him in his deadly fight while he tries to protect his human girlfriend, Sarah (Dianna Agron), and connect with the others who share his powers.

I'm a real science fiction nut although I expected more from this movie, none the less it was a pretty good movie

Didn't expect to like this as much. Some good special effects and 'powers' to be seen. Felt a bit left out where the story went and the plot etc. Totally for teenage boys - they'll lap this stuff right up.

Whilst having sequel coming written all over it, I quite enjoyed this movie and it had the cutest beagle in it.

Good scifi plot concept, but acting mediocre, and the movie degenerates into a C grade teeny boppy style, with implausible abilities in John and later, Jane Doe.

Disappointing. Seemed like a pilot movie. More for teens, maybe. Predictable.
