The one & only original Waters classic, & everything you expect from him; sly, vicious pisstake coated with fabulous glittery goop. Divine, Debbie Harry et al. If you think the dumbarse remake is better, you're missing the point.
Wonderfully classic movie for all the family. The fact that the star was a larger lady was just a bonus. I enjoyed it now as much as I did many years ago

Not bad for a movie from the late 80's, but I thought it was enjoyable to say the lest. I would not go out and buy it but it was good for a rental.
Classic old school john waters but on the other hand once you've seen the recent remake , you
realize why they needed to remake the movie. as it is just not same without the catchy musical

We have seen this one before and was as good now as it was then an loved the moving and grooving.
Although the "Mashed Potatoe" wasn't my dance the memories came flooding back. Loved the hair.

I love this movie its close to the real 50s as movies can go I have the other hairspray on my shelf and it dont give enough justice to the real one my kids like this one better :)
This was not as good as the one John Travolta's in. I watched it at the movies and think it was much more enjoyable.
