a love story of today

When long-time liberals Matt and Christina Drayton's daughter brings home her new fiance, they are naturally apprehensive about meeting their son-in-law-to-be for the first time. But when Joanna & John arrive for dinner, the Draytons discover that they aren't quite as broad-minded as they thought they were!

Considered by many to be a masterpiece of modern cinema, Guess Who's Coming To Dinner was not only a box office sensation but was also nominated for 10 Academy Awards (1967). A "magnificent piece of entertainment" that "will make you laugh and may even make you cry" this landmark film is made even more poignant as it was to be the last film by Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn - one of Hollywood's greatest duos.

An oldie but a goodie. Very bold for it's time, wouldn't be appreciated by those who couldn't understand the racial/political climate of those times.
