Everyone should see this at least once. This was my second viewing and i picked up things that i did not see the first time. However, it is scary - to see a 'great leader' frozen in indecisiveness,... Read more to hear of the dubious mechanisms behind decisions... Probably a bit one-sided, but we hear plenty of the 'official' line from other sources. View this!
I'm no fan of George Bush but this is film is ridiculous. Michael Moore believes he has all the answers and claims to be 100% factual but remember he is particularly biased so take any "fact" with a... Read more pinch of salt!
I may be biased in my opinion because even though I enjoyed "Bowling For Columbine" I think Michael Moore is an absolute loser and a public nuisance
I perceived Fahrenheit 9/11 as more of the self promotion of Mikey Moore, (doing anything to get a laugh), rather then a water-tight documentary. Yes Fahrenheit 9/11 has errors, and yes Fahrenheit 9/11... Read more does contain many deceptions (type in "59+Deceits" in the Google search and see how many errors were collated from Dave Kopel's perspective, and then look at the counters to these 59 Deceits, and the counters to those counters, etc. etc.). Following this train of thought, a closer approximation to the truth can only be attained by researching from different sources and reviewing and cross correlating evidence and facts from different angles of perspective. For example, 'The Power of Nightmares¿ from documentarian Adam Curtis, made for the BBC covers all that Moore does, but takes it a lot further, in actually looking at who has been arrested on terrorism charges and why. If you want to read an excellent book about Iraq, ¿Bush in Babylon¿ by Tariq Ali has much better information about how Iraq came to be where it is today. If you want more information about George Bush give the French documentary 'The World According To Bush' a view (available from DVDUnlimited). And of course there is the internet.
My point is, is that information from single sources (i.e. Fahrenheit 9/11, Fox News Live, CNN) will leave you with an incomplete and bias picture. ¿Fahrenheit 9/11¿ is a good place to start (I give it 3.5/5 stars) at looking at recent history. I just don¿t think it is the place to finish. Keep looking after watching this, the truth is out there.

Bearing in mind that this is not a movie, but a documentary, it is pure Bush-bashing. If you are not a Bush fan you'll love it! It's not even necessarily anti-war, anti-Iraq, anti-Republican, anti-big... Read more business....it's just anti-Bush. Extremely prejudiced and slanted, Mike Moore comes across as nothing more than a zealous and bitter liberal who can't stand the fact that HIS agenda isn't being advanced by the current government administration in the US. He doesn't, for example, make the obvious comparison between Bush's invasion of Iraq (to free the Iraqi people from a murderous dictator who killed millions of his own people) and Clinton's invasion of Bosnia (for the exact same reason). When Clinton did it, it was OK, Bush does it and it's not OK. But he does not mention this. He tries to make all these underlying conspiracies about the Bush family (and just as many can be made about Clinton's background - remember his impeachment?). I could go on... I lived in the USA for 15 years, so maybe I am slightly opinionated too, but realize that Mike Moore's is a very one-sided viewpoint. Take it with a grain of salt and don't read too much into it.
Yet another superb example of the unique insight and ironic humour of Michael Moore. Everyone who watched this movie did so with a dawning sense of horror at what has been going on behind the scenes... Read more in the George Bush camp. The only time I felt uncomfortable with this movie was at a point where I felt a mother's grief was exploited unnecessarily. EVERYONE shoud see this.
Worth the watch. Couldn't believe some of the stuff uncovered about Bush, very believable. Don't understand why they re-elected him!!
I liked it funny man you are g.b thank god you wasnt ow president.
Definitely worth a watch. Mike Moore is always good at stirring the pot and digging up stuff that the public should know about. It gives the watcher an interesting view of how easily people are manipulated... Read more using politics and corruption and how it tends to be fueled by greed and loyalty to the "boys club". Very very interesting.
Incredible. A great doco. Dont like all his stuff but Bush is a nob so this is good
Most of what is claimed here is factual; you can debate the interpretation all you like, but given the players' motivations, declared & undeclared, Moore's conclusions are reasonable. Pure fiction could hardly be more outrageous. Solid.
