Found this to be very confusing and got lost, which made me lose interest and never made it it to the end. A great cast with a confusing movie = waste of time.
This is NOT the 'white knuckle thriller' the blurb promises! It feel more like a comedy-thriller that just isn't very funny. It features a good cast (Clive Owen is very good, Julia Roberts a bit restrained)... Read more and an interesting plot structure ... But the film does not seem to fire. It isn't exciting or dramatic, nor is it funny. It gets better as it goes on, and the confusing narrative starts to come together, and the snaky way the relationships and motivations of characters are revealed, is engaging if you can keep focused, but it really doesn't grip, thrill or amuse.
Chosen for the actors but didn't get the story, confusing plot a little disappointing, would have been good if I had known what it was about
Just couldn't get into it. I like both actors but just get into the story.
for two great actors & budget what went wrong? The chemistry between them did not seem to project to the viewer and what could have potentially been a good film just never connected, Julia Roberts did... Read more not seem in the mood to be on set and her wardrobe had minimal appeal.
This movie was not impress me much, as I thought it should.
Very hard to follow with the way it flicks backwards and forwards. Not one I'd bother with.
This movie is possibly the worst film that ive ever wasted time watching. This comes in second worst to the maddonna movie she tried to make.
I watched the first ten minutes of the movie and then sent it back.
Slow, and flicks back and forth alot, so a little hard to follow. Good ending.
This film was a waste of an evening with over-clever convolutions peopled by shallow characters. Clive Owen was convincing, but the rest of the cast were not.
