Tim Conrad's (Paul Rudd) boss hosts a dinner party where he invites his friends to bring along the saddest, most pathetic loser they can find. But when the ultimate schmuck (Steve Carell) arrives, his actions somehow turn everyone else into the losers. Comic heavy hitters Zach Galifianakis and Ron Livingston lend able support in director Jay Roach's (Austin Powers) darkly humorous film, an adaptation of the French comedy The Dinner Game.

Someone tell me how it ends because I couldn't sit through it. Steve Carell has done some dross in his time but this is a new low. Cringe-worthy from go to woe (well as much woe as I could take).

Terrible, terrible movie. Very predictable and not at all funny

Not funny at all, don't bother. Not one Steve Carell should be proud of.

Highlights: the opening credits, Jemaine Clement. Don't waste your time on this but perhaps go and find the French version of this film on which this one was ruined and you will have a better experience.

We watched this with an open mind and found it quite was a hoot actually. Not too bad. So I think it depends on your frame of mind when you watch the movie really.

We didn't even bother to finish watching it. Really thought it was going to be some part funny because of the cast but was basically disturbed by the entire lot. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
