1969 M Contains violence.

One of the most popular screen westerns ever made, this Academy Award winning classic blends adventure, romance and comedy to tell the true story of the West's most likeable outlaws. No one is quicker than Butch Cassidy (Paul Newman) when it comes to get rich quick schemes, and his sidekick Sundance (Robert Redford) is a wizard with a gun. When these two bungling bank and train robbers tire of running from the law, they set out for Bolivia with Sundance's girlfriend (Katherine Ross). Though they can barely speak enough Spanish to communicate "This is a stick-up", that's only a minor detail to the two nicest "bad-guys" who ever rode the West.

It doesn't take itself seriously which is good. Some beautiful location shooting which overpowers the story and characters but not to the detriment of the film.Good "Making of".

One of the best cowboy movies ever made. I got it out because I had a dim but fond recall of watching this movie when I was a kid. I wasn't let down - Paul and Robert are at their finest - it was worth... Read more

It was as enjoyable as before. Although one does remember things a little different seeing as it was many years ago we saw it last.

Westerns etc. are not really my cup of tea, but it was good as a story I guess. I wish I'd had 2 or 3 of my 9 grandchildren here at the time as they would have enjoyed. As you can see, I'm an oldie, and prefer musicals, drama stories, sport .
