A good slow burner thriller. The nice vs nasty side was excellently portrayed by Chris Cooper.
Very good film. Good acting and a decent story. Based on true events
Like most movies about true stories they usually are slow and this is no exception. You just can't throw an explosion and some scenes of a gunfight to liven up the movie. Based on the story of a spy... Read more working inside the American government selling secrets to the Russians. As I said, very slow but being a true story it is a worthwhile watch.
Really slow to begin with, but it picks up and becomes a pretty good movie in the end.
The movie gradually builds up to a less than dramatical climax. I wouldn't watch it if you want to be 'entertained' but instead if you want to watch how even the best can fail to notice what's going... Read more on right in front of them. Based on a true story (read up about it before you watch)
Anyone who enjoys John Le Carre stories will find this film worthwhile.
Found this movie slow moving, suggest lower rating, fast forward button frequently used. Robinhood
really enjoyed this film, an excellent portrayal of a very trouble, twisted man. Being a true story made it even more interesting.
Very good, tense all the way through. Great acting.
Chris Cooper holds this film together; managing to clearly convey the strain of living a double life for over 20 years. I felt the end happened a little quickly and was just too neat and tidy.
